When I click on the link for GetSkinny Git-R-Free ,unlike the other links which go to pages with cash offers, I go to a page offering exercise equipment. Also with regards to your
mentorship program you ask that content be emailed for you to make the website . How do you email content for a website?

Hi Kevin, yes the Getskinny link does take you to a page with exercise equipment. However, you can also submit a custom order, which basically pays you $80 per referral when you start getting your own referrals.

Concerning the mentoring website, all you need to do is submit a support ticket at www.thefreebieguy.net/support with the information you want on the website, along with the FTP information from your confirmation email that you will get when you sign up for the hosting. Once I have that info, I will set it up for you. All the info you need to send is in the startup email you get when you sign up at www.thefreebieguy.net/freementorsite. Where are you from? If you are from the U.S., Canada, Australia or the U.K., you should be fine. Otherwise, Freebie Sites aren't available for other countries. I wish they were.

Leslie, I read through your entire site yesterday and what you have to say about freebie trading has gotten me very excited. I want you to know, however, that I went to 40 macrobucks using the link above, registered and tried to complete two offers. I have run into several problems already with my card being declined and then told that my order was a duplicate. I even received a duplicate order msg after a single attempt for one offer.

i am concerned, but I am going to try the next site. if I have problems again, or if my bank account has unauthorized activity, i am going to be very upset. I came to this site after your being referenced in MSN money and after seeing your interview with Christian PF. Since these were both very reputable sites, i took a chance, and now i hope I do not regret it.

Hi Aaron, glad you decided to give it a try. There is one thing to mention about the duplicate transactions. There are a few offers that are hosted by the company called Pacific Webworks. The thing is, once you have completed 1 offer from that company, you can not complete another, and if you try to do it, it would show up as a duplicate transaction. So you can't do any more of those offers.

If you are concerned or uncomfortable with moving on, you can work on finishing up 40 macrobucks, I will pay you, and you will see that it works. At that point, you can move on to the next. The main thing is that you should take it slow and move forward at a pace that you are comfortable with. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. It's better to get the answer upfront than to make an avoidable mistake.

I read your report and listened to your video and checked to make certain I had everything in place but I don't have a credit card. I do have a debit card but only credit cards were acceptable. Is there anything that can be done about that?

You don't have to use a credit card Wynn. You can use a bank issued debit card just fine for most offers. Hope that helps :)

I have tried all the offers and in payment options, they want MasterCharge, Visa or Amex. None accepted debit card. There must be something I'm missing.

This truly does work, Leslie paid me the same day that I went green on 40 Macrobucks. However, I will say that you must be very careful with some of these trial offers ...I think the risk might outweigh the reward.

Hey there, it definitely is worth it. Remember, you are only completing offers in the first method. That's not an indefinite process. I only did that for 2 weeks before moving on. In terms of being careful with the offers, that is very true. Hey Leslie!!! I just typed a REALLy long comment but it got erased lol. In a nutshell i said: I am so thankful for someone as honest and God fearing as you that truely wants to help people. I want to get started greening under you. I just have a couple questions. I was browsing FLR and i noticed that some of the peoples threads that are offering greens have alot of sites, but I know from this site that we can only do about 15 sites before we have to go to method 2. After I complete the above offers, will you give us more, and so on and so forth till we get to the 15 limit and have to start getting refs.

1. I do have a bunch of other sites and if you want, I can give you more.
2. I usually recommend for my referrals to do 4 - 6 sites and then move on to doing Green for Green Trading. In other words, you go green for someone in exchange for them going green for you. Then when they have a TR of 10, you can move on to method 2.

I went through the whole site yesterday and started on 40 Macrobucks, I did one offer for a 2/3. nothing happened. So I did another and it said Duplicate offer. I've waited about 12 hours and at the top it still says "No offers credited! Click here to complete an offer" Why isn't it giving me credit for the first one I did? What do I do now?

Hi Greg. An offer can take longer than expected to credit. The times listed are the expected times based on what normally happens. However, there are a number of factors that can affect those times. Worse case scenario, if it doesn't credit after 5 days, you can submit a manual credit request and get it credited that way. In terms of the duplicate offer, that's because some of the offers are hosted by the same company - Pacific Webworks. You are only allowed to do one of those offers, anything else would show up as a duplicate transaction.

For future references, the best way to get answers to any issues you have is by using my support ticket system at www.thefreebieguy.net/support. That makes it much easier for me because I have a system in place for dealing with that. Looking forward to your green and to sending you some cash :)

I have yahoo and yahoo IM and opened an account at the Free LunchRoom under yahoo- but also have gmail and use Google Reader , subscriptions, blogging sites and other google services.under my gmail account.

I am anxious to get started but want to make sure that things are set up right for later on down the road.

I 'm hoping you can help with these little details that keep popping up in my mind so I can get up off the starting blocks .

Hi Roberta, it's better to get those things clarified before getting in. It really doesn't matter which one of those you use. The main thing is that there shouldn't be strong filters so either of those should work. My preference is gmail because you can set it up with multiple email accounts. My only recommendation would be to use an account that isn't your personal account because you tend to get a lot of spam when doing it. I signed up for a new account when I was starting out!

Leslie, read all your info and it seems very good although I am a little confused about the number of sites you can go green with and getting my own referrals.

I have visited some forums and have someone who wants me to trade with them and get me started. Ithe sites he lists aredifferent from yours above. total sites would be 8.

How to proceed. I have some friends interested in pursuing this for me also.

Hi Marathon262, I understand your confusion. This is how it works. You can go green on as many sites as you want to. I offer 4 here as a started package and have a bunch of others. I decided to list these 4 because they have been the best to me and I try to provide my referrals with good quality sites. There are many freebie sites out there and each freebie trader has their own preferences. When someone starts as a freebie trader, I recommend for them to start by working with one person to begin with. If you are working with someone else at the forum, I would stick with that person and do a few sites with them. Then if you want to get some more with me, you can, or you can move on to working with someone else. The most important thing is that you should take your time and try to learn as much as possible at each point. Hope this all makes sense. I went to 60 Macrobucks on 2.12.09 and completed an offer for 1/2 credit. The company called me back to confirm that I signed-up, but when I log into my 60 Macro account I don't see anything credited to me at all. I am hesitant to do any additional offers. Hi Howard, this happens every so often. Crediting is quite complicated and every so often, there is a glitch. Once you received a confirmation email, you can submit a Manual Credit Request to try to get credit for the offer, which will most likely happen. You need to submit the Full confirmation email with Full headers. Also, when you submit the Manual Credit Request, let them know that you are working with me, then let me know that you submit it so that we can accelerate the process. Leslie, upon trying the macrobucks link I made it through one offer and then subsequent offers keep coming up declined duplicate. ????

Sorry about the delay in response. I just came home from a 1 week long tour Marathon. In terms of the duplicate offers, there are a few offers that are hosted by the company Pacific Webworks. Because they are hosted by the same company, if you did one offer already, you can't do another. On the offer page of macrobucks it actually tells you that at the top in bright red and lists the offers that it applies to, so that should make it easy for you to know which ones that applies to. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Leslie, just wanted to say a great big 'Thank You!' to you for all your help so far. It's been a tough few days for me learning about what this is all about, but you've really been a blessing for me by being so understanding and patient.

Anyone reading this that is on the fence like I was (even very disbelieving while doing my first trades!), try not to get to caught up in the myths that you might have seen on the internet, this is not a scam. Leslie is just honestly trying to help everyone he can by putting a little (or alot depending on how much you decide to do) more green in their pockets.

I started this process, what 4 days ago now, finished 2 sites and now have and extra $50! that's not to shabby in my book.

I more than likely could have more, but I messed up by not really knowing what I was doing somewhere along the line. That's ok, I'm willing to do the work and make my mistakes with folks like Leslie to help, I know I will learn the right way if I just pay attention!

If you decide to try freebie trading, might I recommend you keep in mind doing two things. Number one, be patient, and number two, read!

These two things will help you enormously, espcially if you are anything like me and just want to jump in here to see what all the fuss is about!

If you don't really know the answer or feel uncomfortable at all about what you are doing. Please do yourself a favor and just ask Leslie, he is a fountain of understanding and will help you as much as he can. This system works, but you really need to go slow at first.

I am still hanging around here- haven't done my first trade yet- still nervous about messing up my cookies tracking. Question: You say we should check out the reviews of an offer before completing it.

When do I do that?

Lets say I have this Make Money Page of your site open.

I click on your link to Macrobux.

Can I log onto Macrobux with my first tab still opened to your site?

Do I leave another tab open that links to the Review Page?

For example, Let's say I am signed into the Macrobux Site and I see an offer but I want to check it out first- so I click on my other open tab (the Review Site) and look it up and then go back to Macrobux.

Will that mess up my cookis unless I clear my cookes again?

Do I log out of Macrobux , close my Review tab, clear my cookies and then log back in to Macrosbux and then click on offer?

Hi Roberta, here are the answers to your questions:
1. You should check the offer reviews before actually signing up for the offers.
2. Yes you can keep the tab of my site open.
3. You can leave another tab open that links to the review page. This is not a problem. Having multiple tabs open won't affect crediting.
5. You only have to clear cookies BEFORE registering at the Freebie Site. When you complete the offer, leave the confirmation page open for 10 Minutes.
6. You don't need to log out of Macrobucks, but you can. That is not a problem.

Leslie, Do you allow your referrals to pass on the Freebie Report and Freebie Tracker that you have on your site as tools of the trade? I am curious, and would rather have your permisiion before passing it on.

Hi Aaron, yes you can pass it on. However, I would caution against passing on the report for yourself, because it links back to my make money page, and I wouldn't want to steal anyone's referral. okay another quick question. u know how ur suppose to leave the screen up for 10 min. after u complete n offer. should i not clear my cookies in that time? even if i want to go to another site n fill out n offer. should i just wait 10 min. then go fill out another offer?

The ONLY time you ever want to clear your cookies is right before registering at a site. You DON'T want to clear cookies between offers. My recommendation is just to wait the 10 minutes and after that, move on to the next step! Hope that helps olusegun!

hey leslie, not tryin to discourage any others that may read this, but im finding it really hard to go green on those site. some arent taking my card. i was advised not to go over the one credit seeing as though i may need the other offers later. im finding that pretty difficult aswell. i dont wanna give up thou. got any pointers?

Hey Olusegun, don't worry about discouraging others. You aren't doing that. You are just asking a logical question and I'm glad to answer. There are a few things to note. Firstly, some offers (for some strange reason), don't except certain cards. I'm not sure why, but I do remember trying one card on an offer and having it being declined. Then I tried a different card and it wasn't declined. That's just how it is for a few of the offers I've tried. On the other hand, you need to make sure it isn't a prepaid card or paypal card, because those aren't accepted. In terms of going over 1 credit, If you go a little over one credit, that's no problem. On some sites, I got (for example) 1.06 credit and even 1.1 because that was the best combination of offers I could find. If you are really having problems with the first site, you can move on to the second, because they have over 600 offers to choose from. But you should definitely try to finish the first to get paid for it. One more thing to not (as I noted in some of the comments above), a few of the offers are hosted by the company Pacific Web Works. If you do one of those offers, you can no longer do another one. It will show up as a duplicate transaction. If you have any more problems, don't hesitate to let me know. I just wanted to thank you for the referral split at $40 for Macrobucks.

I did run into some problems - the first was duplicate offers. I have tried this and that through the years and had forgotten about those. eFax had my information on record from 5 years ago!
The second was my valid credit card was rejected. I can't say why it happened the first time but I do know my cc company's security kicked in at wouldn't allow any other transactions on that card until they had verified the transactions with me by telephone.
The last problem going forward will be a little unusual in that I'm an affiliate of some of the offers!
I need to be careful there, too!

Thank so much for all of the available info and support. I've recently gone green on my first freebie site and now have a few questions for you:

I definitely want to stick to offers that interest me. However, I'm not finding very many that do. Out of the ones I do manage to find that interest me, the cost usually seems to be higher than what I would make--especially since most of them are worth only a fraction of a full credit. I don't want to spend a total of $60 in order to get $30 in my PayPal account.

Do you have any solutions to this?
How often do new offers come up?
(or how often should I check back to see if something new interests me?)

I'd really love to stick with this, but I can see this being a big stumbling block for me (and many other people, I would assume). How do we get around it while we're still mucking around in Method One?

Any insights you can give would be wonderful!

I was once new to freebies my self and this stumbling block you mention stood in my way at fist also. but what is really happening is you are wrestling with your own demons here just like I was. "But I want to make some money!" is not taking money out of your pocket the same thing as putting it in? Incentivized Freebie Websites are exactlly that freebie howere in this instance it is 1/2 off for you :P so it dint work out this time. The good news is you get something you are interested in and you are now green on a forver green site :).

After wrestling with my demons and tried not to focus so hard on making a buck 100% it became easier.

For instance I just green on a Incentivized Freebie Website on sunday. the offer struck between me and the freebie trader was for $25 paid to me for greening on a site I wanted.after looking after the offer I filled out an offer for 1 and 1/2 pounds of coffee 3 1/2 pounders of diffrent blends. cost 3$ Then the was a great offer for personalized dog treats with my pups name on them. cost $6.95 and finally an offer for personalized stamps. "awsome, my wife will love these!" The stamps will arrive with a picture of my wife and myself kissing on our wedding day! cost $18.44 so as you can see it cost me a total $28.39 to get paid my $25. I think I win dont you? not to mention I am also green on a site I was looking to green on. keep at it

I'm impressed with your site and getting excited about making money with freebies. Just have some querries and it would be great if you can help me clarify them.

1. When I checked the freebie sites, they said "chose your free prize" and the number of credits and referrals you need to get that prize. Does that mean I have to complete some offers to get the credits AND refer someones there to get that prize? What happens if I only complete the offer and do not have any referral?

2. The money you share with me is additional to the prize or I only get what you share with me and you get the prize?

3. What happens to the information we provide to the offering sites? Are they safe?

4. What we need to do to become a referrer? Do we automatically become a referrer when we sign up successfully?

5. How many tiers do they have? And for how long do they track the referrals? For example, if I am your referral and I complete one credit. Then I don't do anything until 6 months later. Do you get credit when I complete another offer after 6 months/ 1 year?

6. If the referrals just complete some offers and don't continue, does that mean we have to refer new members every day?

Hi Winny, to answer your questions:

1. You do not need to get any referrals to do Method 1. Once you have completed the offer requirements, I pay you. If you choose to move on to Method 2, where you get your own referral, you get paid directly from the freebie site, which can lead to more long term profit.

2. The prize that you select is the prize you work towards if you decide to move to the second method. So that's later on. For right now, I pay you 50% of what I receive.

3. The info is safe yes. I did get some telemarketers calling me when I first started doing offers, but I just told them to take me off their list and now I don't get anymore. But the credit card info you use is perfectly safe. I've never heard of anyone's info being used in a way that involves any kind of identity issues, and I've interacted with thousands of Freebie Traders.

4. Once you have met the offer requirements, you can refer people and get paid. When you register, you immediately get a referral link that you can use.

5. It's just one tier. I only get paid for my referrals, not for your referrals. It's not a pyramid scheme type situation. Once you complete the offer requirements, our agreement is over. Going back to the same site and completing more offers won't get you any more money. If you want more, you would have to do another freebie site, or get your own referrals.

6. If a referral does not complete the offer requirements, i.e. if they only complete one offer and need to complete 2, you don't get paid. You don't EVER have to get your own referral. But if you do, you get more money :)
