I love my new mentoring website!! It has allowed me to send my referrals to one place to get most if not all their questions answered. When my site is completed, can I put the URL in my profile in Flr? I know I can’t use it in a trade thread or my signature but I wondered about the profile where it asks for website address?

Hi Gail. Yes, you are free to put the URL in your profile in FLR. That way, when people go to your profile, they can see the link to your site. They can even click on your name and then select “Visit your homepage” and they will be redirected to your site.

I’m glad you like the site, and I will be working on making the tutorials even BETTER and more user-friendly. Your site should be up and running pretty soon. I’m looking forward to see your success!

Hi Willis. That is not possible (unfortunately). The arrangement I have with Lunarpages is that you HAVE TO sign up for at least 1 year. That’s something that’s determined by them, not me. I’m hoping to EVENTUALLY have a system where people can pay on a month by month basis. We’ll see how that goes

This truly is an awesome asset to our Freebie Trading businesses and I think even the cost of hosting for one year is a good deal! Much love to you for your hard work in even stepping out and negotiating something like this. I too am an entrepreneur and have worked from home for more than 5 years now. So I wanted to thank you for sharing this opportunity.

While I’m extremely interested in obtaining one of these sites, I do have a few questions first. My first question is how customizable are these sites? That’s the most important issue for me. Can I add videos of my own? Can I change the content from what you have to what I want it to be? Do I have to depend on you to make changes to the site or can I make them myself? And if I must depend on you to make those changes, are there any charges associated with that?

Hi Ms. Sheeka, Thanks for your kind words. Your question made me smile because that is the first question I would’ve asked

K, this is how it works - The pages that are customizable are the “Make Money”, “About me” and “Contact me” pages. You can do whatever you want with those pages as long as you know how to edit HTML. You can also edit them via your control panel for your hosting account.

I’m in the process of building a private site for everyone who gets one of the sites. That site will have videos on how to change those aspects of your site whenever you want. It will also have resources for you to use to market your site so that you can make even more MONEY

Now, if you would like to have full control of ALL the pages on your site, that is possible. I can do that. However, if you retain full control of the site, then it won’t get the automatic updates. I will be making changes like adding videos and content later on (and trust me - they will be AWESOME). Whenever I make those changes, they will automatically be changed on all the sites that I have “control” over.

So if you want to manage all the pages yourself, I can put them all on your hosting account. Just let me know if you want this option and I can easily do it for you.

Hi Burt, that’s a question that keeps coming up. The way the site is set up, some of the pages are actually posted on my site and then “mirrored” onto yours. The reason I’ve done it that way is so that when I’ve made changes to mine, it shows up on everyone’s site. So I can add videos and changes easily.

The pages you have complete control of are the “About Me”, “Make Money”, and the “contact me” pages. I’m working on a “private site” for everyone who gets the mentoring site that will show you how to make changes and so that I can get all of your feedback on improvements to make to the site because it will be a group effort here on out. You will be getting an email about that soon.

The private site will also have resources that you can use to get referrals on and off the forums. It will be AWESOME!! I’m excited!

Hi leslie,I went ahead and ordered your mentoring site,but was wondering you state it will cost me $59.40 for a whole year but I winded up paying $118 ? what’s up with that ?why did I pay the $118 and not $59.40 as you said?

Hi Hanna, I’m sorry that happened. It seems like you signed up for 2 years instead of 1 year. When signing up, you have to specify that you ONLY want the 1 year hosting. You can probably get the second year refunded if you contact Lunarpages. If you want me to look into it with my contacts over there, send me a support ticket with your domain name and details at http://www.thefreebieguy.net/support. Otherwise, you can just contact them directly and ask to get it refunded.

I haven’t dealt with that problem before so I’m not 100% sure what their procedure is, but I can definitely find out. Just let me know so we can get you your money back.

Question for you: I assume these sites are submitted to search engines to help drive traffic to the site? Correct? Is any type of automatic internet advertising included?

If so, what is the history of hits vs. sign-ups? Also, I’m again assuming we would have to supplement our advertising with blogs, articles, ezines, google adwords, etc.?

Do you have article/blog writers that you would recommend? And, what types of costs are associated?

I AM INTERESTED, however, still have some additional questions . . .

Hi Terry, those are all excellent questions. This is how this works. I provide you with the site and you can advertise it in whatever way you see fit (whatever works best for you). There is no automatic internet advertising included at this point.

In terms of the history of hits vs. sign-ups, I wouldn’t be able to tell you that. This is a new thing that I’m offering and of course, success varies from individual to individual. For example, I had a person get a site last week, did some marketing and got 45 trades set up in the span of 2 days.

However, I don’t just give you a site and offer no support. I am actually building a website right now to provide resources and step by step instructions on different ways to market the site.

In terms of article/blog writer, I haven’t ever used one because I like to write my articles myself. However, you can go to places like Elance.com, getafreelancer.com and a number of others to get article writers. The cost varies. I’ve heard of as low as $5 and as much as $40 per article. It all depends on what it entails.

Glad to see that you are interested. I’d be happy to get you going with one. I’ll be sending out an announcement soon about the training site that I am working on. I’m very excited about it and I believe it will help people get a lot of referrals.

Hi Diana, unfortunately not. If you sign up for Lunarpages with Freebies4me, they get credited and I don’t. Because of that, you won’t be able to take advantage of both. If you are trying to get the Free Mentoring site, I need to get credit and then I can set it up for you. Hope this makes sense

I’m glad you like the site. In terms of showing up in google, that depends on how you deal with it in terms of SEO. You can submit it to google and so on, but I think the best way to drive traffic to the site is by starting a blog. That’s what I’ve done and it works very well. I will be dealing with those kinds of topics in my Training program that I’m working on.
